Skill Development Programme (कौशल विकास कार्यकम )

SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IT'S NEED

RTERC felt that with the imparting of education in the education center through out India, there is a need for innovative experiments also in education. In this perspective, RTERC has modeled the Skill Development Programme on the national scheme “Education at your Door-Step”. In the first phase of the session 2009-10, almost 2 lac schools with recognition of CBSE, CISCE and State Education Boards have been included. There is participation of govt. schools, military schools as well as of the prestigious public schools-Delhi Public School, D.AV. etc. In the second phase 3 lac schools and in the third phase 10 lac schools are to be included so that new changes can take place in them and the General knowledge of students can be enhanced by encouraging at National Level so that they can pass competitive exams and get jobs in govt. or semi govt. institutions.

Each student participating in this programme will receive a certificate from every school first, second and third position holders will be selected and they will be honored at school level in the Republic Day Function on 26 January in the same phase, students holding, highest position at District/State/National level will be encouraged by honoring them at District/ State/National level functions as the case may be.
 

Details of Prize
FIRST PRIZE – Rs. 2,50,000/- [Two lac fifty thousand]
SECOND PRIZE – Rs. 1,50,000/- [One lac fifty thousand]
THIRD PRIZE – Rs. 1,00,000/- [One lac]
Other Prizes :- At Schools, District, States, National Levels.

 

Application Schedule

NATIONAL LEVEL
Last date for submission of application forms in schools 30 Nov 2009 (South India)

All the students studying in schools having recognition of CBSE, CISCE, State Education Boards, Private Schools, Public Schools, D.A.V. Schools, Military Schools and govt. Schools of India and Union Territories can participate.


Examination
Examination is to be conducted in all the schools all over India.
Date : 30 Oct 2009 (Rest of India) & 10 Dec 2009 (South India)
